Udo Doring is the former CEO and Executive Director of AustCham Shanghai. Udo led a team of staff across four departments to drive the Chamber’s mission to strengthen Australia-China business, government and relationships. Prior to joining the Chamber, Udo worked in a number of roles in business strategy and human resources consulting and with the Queensland Government. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Queensland University of Technology, and a Graduate Certificate of Chinese Law from Hong Kong City and Murdoch University.
Louise is an award winning Entrepreneur, researcher and business advisor. Louise has received recognition from Industry and Government at a local and national level for her contribution to the Australian business sector. In 2004, Louise established an Advisory Board for her own business which has provided her with first hand experience in how a well run Advisory Board can positively impact CEOs. Since 2012, Louise has served as Chair for commercial Advisory Boards. She is an in-demand speaker and is regularly called upon as the leading voice for Advisory Boards in the Asia Pacific region.
Jan is a founding member & Certified Chair of the Advisory Board Centre. She is COO of the Network and currently chairs two commercial Advisory Boards. She is the facilitator of our Advancing Women on Boards program in collaboration with the Queensland Government Advancing Women in Business initiative. Jan has extensive senior management experience in the franchise and professional services industries.
Bernard is an Advisor on our Advisory Board and a founding member of the Advisory Board Centre as a Certified Chair. He chairs several Advisory Boards and has extensive experience as a Company Director and Board Member for organisations including Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and Crèche & Kindergarten Association Ltd. Bernard is a Business Services Partner and Chartered Accountant with BDO.
David is an Advisor on our Advisory Board and Certified Chair. An experienced corporate affairs executive and non-executive director, he is Principal of Vigot & Co, Chair of Communications Compliance Limited, and an Adjunct Professor at Deakin Business School, Deakin University. He has been a senior executive at Qantas Airways, BHP Billiton and Optus (Singtel), and a senior adviser to three Australian Prime Ministers, culminating as Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister. David is a non-executive director of Opera Australia, The Asia Society-Australia, the European Australian Business Council and Can Too Foundation. He also sits on advisory boards for IoTStream Limited, and the Headon Photo-festival Foundation.
