Advisory Board Centre delivers Advance Queensland Female Founders Program

Minister for Innovation and Tourism Industry Development and Minister for the Commonwealth Games, The Honourable Kate Jones, has announced the Advisory Board Centre will deliver a new Advance Queensland initiative to support Female Founders to achieve their business growth ambitions.

“The Female Founders Program is designed to catapult female entrepreneurs to success through skill development, confidence and education,” Ms Jones said.

The Female Founders Advisory Board program is focused on increasing the participation rates and business skills of female founders in Queensland along with providing support to female founders who are in the growth phase and need assistance to achieve their ambitions.

Advisory Board Centre COO, Jan Easton, said that the Centre was proud to be collaborating with the Queensland Government to support the growth aspirations of female led businesses.

“Connecting more female founders to professional development and best practice fundamentals that are immediately actionable in their business will yield tangible results for the business and the wider Queensland economy,” Mrs Easton said.

“Independent research has clearly shown that a well structured Advisory Board leads to increased sales, productivity and owner confidence.  The Female Founders Advisory Board program will provide a practical pathway to connect Female Founders to the knowledge and support networks they need to drive an economic impact for their business.”
